There was a good selection of free amenities as well. We could not hear any noises from the outside which was one of our worries. The staff was extremely nice and attentive; they even gave us four umbrellas on the day we were checking out because of heavy rain. We told them we could not return them and they insisted on giving them to us.

I like the atmosphere of the hotel. It is a bit old but it has charm and character. If you are big fan of antique look and feel of hotel, you will love this place. Plus, the location is actually pretty good, really close to Okazaki park and Okazaki castle. In addition to it, the hotel is close to 2 local train; Aichi loop line and Meitetsu line.

Loved our comfy family room with tatami area and futons. The sento (public bath) was wonderful: really nice natural rock style bath and lovely washing areas. The sento is well used by guests including kids so definitely family friendly. This hotel has so many extras: free late night ramen service (21:30-23:00), free ice cream after bath, free manga library in the lounge. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and the chef at breakfast was especially nice. What a great stay.

The room was very clean, the beds are super comfy and they have prepared 3 different kinds of pillows ( 1 hard pillow, 1 feather soft pillow and 1 throw pillow) for each bed which made my sleep very comfortable and relaxing since I am used to sleep using 2 pillows. The location was great! It is located next to/above the Nagoya Station. Lots and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. After dinner we walked around to all the shops. The rooms are clean and we had an awesome view. We will definitely stay here again when we come back for another visit.

The hotel was located within minutes of the subway station so it was very easy to get to, it was also only a short distance from Nagoya Castle. I've stayed with APA before and this did not disappoint. Very clean and comfortable with many amenities offered. Check in was a little confusing, but overall everything was great. The room was compact, but there was plenty of space under the bed to store luggage.
