Set in Corniglia, 2.6 km from Guvano Beach, AMARE IL MARE Affittacamere features views of the sea. The room was very clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. The location was close to Corniglia station. Corniglia to Vernazza hiking was recommendable. There is a nice restaurant right in front of the apartment. I will definitely come back!

This was an outstanding hotel!!!!! The free shuttle service was perfect. We parked our car and never used it the whole time we were there!!! When we asked for the shuttle, they came immediately. They even took us dire tly to the boat to go to Cinque Terra. The bfast and dinner options were incredible!!!!!

Stuff very helpful with everything you need. Unfortunately, we stayed too short to enjoy more of the hotel (like the pool and the restaurant).

Abbadia San Giorgio

We arrived there 2 hours before check in and we kindly could check in even earlier than planned. The location is beautiful. Very calm atmosphere, beautifully decorated and you instantly feel very welcome. The room is very cosy, it was very clean and there were already homemade cookies waiting for us to be eaten :-) with some tea. The room is exactly as in the pictures, so is the whole hotel. Then we parked our car at the private parking which was gated and we felt our car was safe and only a 2min walk by the hotel. The village itself is amazing. Very calm and beautiful. Greta was such a sweetheart and made recommendations and reservations for the restaurants for dinner (Julia and Monilo), which we both recommend. She is such a kind person and so is everyone else. After we went to the cinque terre on the first day as a day trip, which is super easy to get to (train station is a 5min walk from the hotel), we had homemade cake waiting in the room for us. The staff really seems to be loving what they do. You can feel that. Now the breakfast, I mean where should I start. Everything was fresh, great choice and just simply super delicious. There‘s absolutely nothing negative about this hotel. Thank you to Greta and the whole staff that gave us such great memories to our babymoon. Keep doing what you do!

Apartament ampli i còmode, amb una òptima relació qualitat-preu No és al centre de La Spezia, però s'hi arriba fàcilment, com també a l'estació de tren, punt de partida per anar a Le Cinque Terre. No té plaça d'aparcament reservada, però amb paciència, seguint les indicacions del Massimo, es troba lloc a prop. Sense luxes, però tot en ordre. Amb un parell de butaques encara seria millor.

L'hotel està molt ben situat, a pocs minuts del centre i de l'estació; volíem fer Cinque Terre amb tren i ens va anar perfecte. El noi de recepció que hi havia la primera nit va ser molt amable i ens va donar tota classe d'explicacions de la ciutat. L'esmorzar molt be. La noia que es cuidava dels esmorzars i de la recepció, fantàstica.

Very nice lady at the reception. Sea view. Logistically good. Frankly I did not understand certain comments about the furniture. Furniture was brand new IKEA stuff. Perfect for a sea place. Colours were fine.

I am a frequent traveler and I usually reside in 3-5 stars' hotels in different parts of the world. By far, Grand Hotel Portovenere gave me the best hotel experience that I ever had throughout more than 25 years of frequent travelling! The staff are our of this world with loads of care and support ! Ariana and Chiara in the reception were exceptional in the kind of support and genuine care that they offered allover our stay :) Anna S. in the restaurant was very careful to make us feel at home in every single meal! Everything about this hotel is exceptional; safety, cleanliness, location, breakfast, very delicious and typically Ligurian dinner, …, etc. I never rated a hotel with 10 (even very luxurious ones) - Yet, I would openly and gladly rate Grand Hotel Portovenere with a 10+
