The location is awesome. We were there with our three kids and they enjoyed it also. We were there second time and it is very good to see they maintain and improve the house.

The Russbachbauer is a family-run holiday farm set is Russbach, 6 km outside of St. Wolfgang. Here, guests can choose between en-suite rooms and self-catering apartments with panoramic views of Mount Rettenkogel. The farm is home to cows, deer, rabbits, goats, and ponies. Pastoral area, just 10 min drive from st. Wolfgang that has cool restaurants and cafes. The apparent itself was clean and comfortable, kitchen had all the required equipment. The landlord lady was very kind and helped us in emergency situation over the weekend

Reiterhof Suassbauer is just 100 metres from Lake Wolfgang and 800 metres from the centre of St. Wolfgang. It offers a riding school and riding opportunities with Iceland horses. Each room has a balcony overlooking the lake. Beautiful location. Very friendly and efficient staff

A ski bus stops a 5-minute drive from the property. The nearest ski lift is 12 km from the farmhouse. During Christmas, guests can also visit the different Advent Markets located at Lake Wolfgang, just 5 km away. The distance to Bad Ischl is less than 9 km. This place has met all our requirements. So clean, convenient location and easy to communicate with owners.. Especially our children loved to this place.

The centre of St. Wolfgang is only a 5-minute walk away from the Altroiterhof. The Schafbergbahn (mountain railway) is 1 km away. Pictures don't do justice to the actual beauty of this place - it puts the phrase "picture perfect" to shame. My husband and I sat on our private balcony every day, in the freezing cold wrapped in duvets, mesmerised by how majestic St. Wolfgang and Lake Wolfgangsee are. We have very busy lives in London therefore wanted to start the new year on a relaxed note, and could not have chosen a better place. The Altroiterhof hosts are the friendliest people in the world. Not only did they insist on picking and dropping us to and from the bus station (they didn't want us to carry our luggage up and down a hill), but also left fresh bread rolls every morning at 8am sharp quietly outside our apartment. These were at an additional price from the local bakery, which we didn't mind paying at all. We were also upgraded to a nicer flat at no additional cost. Hosts were always on hand to answer any queries and the surrounding areas are SO beautiful. It was like a snowy fairytale - we couldn't stop marvelling at how unreal it looked. Most things were closed for the season which we knew of before we travelled and didn't mind - it was actually a lot of fun cooking in the kitchen and enjoying local walks and taking things slow. Cafes and restaurants were open sporadically so people can always find something open (including the local supermarket!). The accommodation is located on a hill though, so that's something to keep in mind for those with mobility issues. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to return. The VITALHOF Archehof Eislbauer is located on the outskirts of St. Gilgen, surrounded by meadows and forests with a fantastic view of the mountains and Lake Wolfgangsee. The village center is a 10-minute walk downhill. This farm stands for regionality, seasonality and closeness to nature. The family is involved in a program to preserve rare animals and attaches great importance to ensuring that the products for the breakfast buffet come from farms that also take part in this project. Loved the attention to details. So much care for the small things. Everything is well thought through. From a picknick basket ready to take to small poems about the region. Its truly done with passion in a sensational setting and high end room interior. Top quality. The breakfast leaves no wishes

Offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the Eggerhof is an organic farm on the outskirts of Strobl, 1,500 metres from Lake Wolfgang. Children can play football and basketball, pet the farm animals, and enjoy an indoor playroom and a playground with a large trampoline and a sandbox. Very cozy accomodation at farm with many animals in wonderful nature. Altogether with playgroung and vehicles for children outside, board games for the whole family guarantee perfect place for vacation. The owners are very nice and helpful. Room and kitchen as well were well equiped, so we didn't miss anything necessary.

Set in the Salzkammergut area, the Weinbachbauer is a working farm with animals in Sankt Wolfgang, 5 minutes’ drive from the shore of Lake Wolfgangsee and 6 km from Sankt Wolfgang. It features free WiFi. Great location at the farm. Clean, maintained and children friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed short walks with my son around, exploring the garden, farm etc.
