Cheese & wine laid out in foyer in the evening is a nice touch. Rooms comfortable & good size. Very professional response when sending back home the headphones that my son had left in his room.

The location was gorgeous with breathtaking views. I would suggest 4WD to get up though especially with all the snow the mountains got over the weekend! The apartment was extremely clean and cozy with a fabulous kitchen which we got to use to make a healthy home cooked meal. The fireplace was a nice touch, and I love that this was pet friendly. My dog loved the location and how big the apartment was. We also utilized the hot tub, which was so nice and quiet.

The unit was beautiful. We loved the location. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The convenience of the locker room, ski rental and free shuttle was worth the expense. If we come back to Breckenridge, we will stay there again.

Slopes were icing and crowded with long lift lines.
Slopes were icing and crowded with long lift lines. We went over to Vail and slopes had great snow and very low lines and didn’t feel crowded. Our first time to both places. Breckenridge town was cute but had long wait times at the restaurants. Elevation was too high for us - took us two days to adjust. It is frustrating to drive in Breckenridge- slow traffic and not enough public parking.

The town was nice and easy to get around.
The town was nice and easy to get around. The ski area was huge and accommodated all levels of skiing. For a group with all different skiing levels and ages ranging from young child to retired age, this was perfect and allowed everyone to have a great time.

I would recommend this location to someone that is a skier or snowboarder. Other than that, there is nothing of real substance for someone to do in Breckenridge or neighboring towns. Also - beware of altitude sickness! My 15 year old was struck with HAPE, and some of the issue may have been the lack of proper acclimation to altitude. If able, it is a very good idea to get to altitude slowly - take several days to do it. The downtown area is full of restaurants and boutiques, so, if that's your thing, you may love it. I was with two snowboarders and bored out of my mind. Make sure to budget for inflated prices at restaurants, etc., as well. Overall, not my scene, but I can definitely see the appeal if you are there to partake in winter activities.

The photos on Booking.com that were in the listing when I first reserved were not at all what I found when I arrived. They were far more luxurious-looking. I reported this to the host after checking in, and the photos that are up now are accurate representations of the penthouse I booked. I would have likely still booked it, but with lower expectations.

This was our first time in Breckenridge, and we will be back.A great variety of ski terrain. Everyone in our group had plenty of slope to explore at all skill levels. Lots of fun places to party in town.
Plenty of room for 5 adults, very nicely furnished. The patio is just lovely, sitting there and listening to the babbling stream was so relaxing! Well stocked kitchen, counter top ice maker in addition to ice in the freezer. Plenty of spices available for guests to use. Quick ride to Main Street in Breckenridge and a Summit Stage bus stop is within a short walk. Located on the way into Breck from Highway 9, so that traffic is avoided. Nice breezeway area which would be handy for those using for a ski trip.
This hotel is downtown, about a 2 minute walk off Main Ave and on corner of Ski Lift Road and Park Ave. It is just a 5 minute walk from Breckenridge Station, which is where the airport shuttles drop off passengers. Breckenridge Station has the Gondola which takes visitors up to Peak 7 and 8 ski areas. It is a 5 minute walk to the Main Plaza. and sits right on the Blue River, which is a nice area. A car is not needed as long as you remain in Breckenridge. City Bus system is excellent, bus stop in front of Condo.
Hi,
Upon arrival at der Steiermark we were unable to gain access to the apartment. We talked to the landlord but was unable to help.
We called the numbers on the booking confirmation but got no responses.
We were left with no option but to book into the hotel across the road.
The next morning we tried again without any luck.
We called vacasa help and spoke to a person who gave us a née code which worked.
I'm seeking a refund for the night missed.
Regards
Roy Gibson
Staff was very accommodating, especially for our unexpectedly late arrival (four-hour flight delay). The common area was a great place to meet other guests and talk about what everyone was up to while in Colorado. We met a lot of interesting people. We were able to walk into town both to ride the gondola up to Peak 8 and to go to dinner later that day. Both walks were less than 10 minutes each way.
The lodge common area, the deck, rooms are great too! The location is super peaceful. There was a problem with our shower after a big rain. The manager handled the situation professionally! It’s the best deal in Breckenridge if you are ok bunking with some fellow travelers! I met some AMAZING people! 😁❤️
Everyone was super friendly, sharing about hikes and biking they were doing in the area.
Super friendly and helpful manager who checked us in early. She's a gem! Our room was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Plenty of parking spaces available, and it's in a quiet residential neighborhood. The drive up to the location from Breckenridge was beautiful! It's located up the side of a mountain just above Breckenridge, and very close to some ski areas.
Clean, comfy and warm. Beds are fine and it would be good for a longer term stay. Quiet compared to the main hotel area. Kitchen is big enough, and lounge area is very nice.
It's a slightly older place but that is no problem, the fittings are all fine.
Walk to Gondola is short, walk to town centre is slightly longer but you can be at the restaurants in about 5 mins walk or less.
Check-in was easy with very nice staff. There was a $35 pet fee but it included a bag for our dog. A couple treats and a toy along with a list of pet friendly activities, and care if needed. This is definitely a dog friendly hotel. There was a nice free breakfast, juices, and coffee along with some snacks.
Fantastic location with a short walk to the ski lift and being able to ski back to just across the road from the driveway. Spacious unit with very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Easy short walk to Main Street of Breckenridge, bus stop at end of driveway for other area of resort and town.
Nice place to stay for some relaxed days, wonderful landscape can be seen from warm outdoor pool, nice pool area for our son with a slide, city nearby is goergous, staff is nice, hotel design is nice, nice room interior with all you will need to take care of your own food...
“Mountain View” room with a Million Dollar View. We were fortunate enough to get a balcony room. We enjoyed sitting and soaking in those mountain views, and watching the night sky with stars so bright. This was our main reason for picking The Lodge at Breckenridge.
A nice, albeit small apartment in the center of Breckenridge, very convenient as within walking distance to the Quicksilver chair. Covered parking is a big asset during the snowy days. Good contact with the management through the Booking app.
The location of the hotel was excellent, right in centre of town yet in a quiet lane. My one bedroom suite was immaculately clean and spacious. Kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, oven & hob. Smooth check in and check out.
Bar stools (heavy) are available for use on the balcony. Location: a free (at the time of stay) shuttle is nearby going downtown or the to ski area. There are two desks and adequate secure wifi.
Very comfy, open common areas, access to shared hot tubs/pool, walking distance to bus stops and downtown Breckenridge! House is also equipped with entry way built for a ski trip!
The access to the ski valet and the rental shop on the lower levels of the hotel, and the location being right across from our ski lift was very convenient.
