Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.
Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.
The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.
The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

Loved it, so much to do & everything is so close!
Loved it, so much to do & everything is so close! If you don't feel like walking you can always UBER or the like for CHEAP! We hit the Zoo, a baseball game, a concert and the waterfront! Yes, some areas looked a bit sketchy, but we had no problems walking around at all hours, including 11PM after a concert to get some food at Silver Moon II. - Side note: the food was delicious and what a variety!

Baltimore has become a really clean, vibrant city with plenty of night life and great restaurants. The downtown harbor area is lovely. We usually whizz through but plan on spending more time here in the future to try the restaurants and take in the sights.

It had been 30 yrs since our last visit on business travel. It has really changed. There is construction everywhere including proposed future demolition of shops at Inner Harbor. If you drive be prepared to pay high hotel parking fees, lots of traffic and parking issues. If not, be prepared to do lots of walking and use public Charm free buses.

I did my residency in Bmore and lived there for 6 years, so perhaps that is why it is not my favorite. There are areas that are quite “charming” but then others that are quite scary. The drug scene is still raging and they need to offer better programs to aid the homeless. Great healthcare and graduate programs at University of Maryland/Shock Trauma. There are decent restaurants, but it’s sad that so many of the ones I loved are now closed. I don’t mind traveling there now for work, but I would probably never live there again.

Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great.
Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great. Not enough time to explore, plan on staying 2 days next time. Found other attractions later missed seeing. Will be back. Will look for a hotel closer as well. Got to see the Perivian ship that was docked in the harbor for free.

The stay was awful.
The stay was awful. Lost our reservation and gave it to another guest, we were supposed to have a harbor view and got a view of a brick wall. The bathroom in the room was filthy and there was a hairy bar of used soap left in the shower. Our AMEX had attempted charges every night for hundreds of dollars, after paying in full at check in along with incidentals. I was told it was an accounting error. We were supposed to get a refund for our experience, which has still not happened. There are signs, and even a special elevator for a rooftop bar that doesn't exist. Terrible experience, will never stay there again.
I would live in the Sheraton if I could. All services were handled in an efficient and pleasant fashion. The only downer for that location is that Baltimore Inner Harbor and Harbor Place are so economically depressed. The infrastructure of the city is really in bad shape, roads, sidewalks, etc. Many "zebra" crosswalks are almost invisible and very few have crossing signal buttons. Warn visitors about Lexington Market and environs.
The hotel itself is wonderful and the staff is super kind. the gym is small, but quite good and I love that they have a Peloton and row machine. It smells wonderful when you enter. the lobby is modern, yet cozy and welcoming. Bed is very comfortable. Very safe neighborhood with security always patrolling. It is ~15-20 min drive to the inner harbor/fells point and ~5-10 min to federal hill depending on the area and traffic.
The location is excellent for visiting the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore. It's within an easy 10 minute walk of the National Aquarium and most other Inner Harbor attractions. Parking is convenient and reasonable in a ramp located just across the street from the hotel. The hotel itself is post-modern in feel and kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast bar is ample, with many different food choices.
Very good hotel, in line with what can be expected for this category. Extremely well located with very good view over the city and the inner harbor. Because of COVID-19 the breakfast experience in hotels has changed but it was still rather OK here when compared with other stays we had around the USA.
The location can't be better - basically right between the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. I was in town to visit both, so this location couldn't have been better. Hotel is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The view from my room was Camden and, a little farther, M&T Stadium.
The main areas of the property like the lobby, bar and Starbucks were really nice. The room was fairly modern, but could use some updates and repair(new carpet, damaged wall, deteriorating amenities overall). I also love how close the hotel is to everything in
the inner harbor area
The location was great, right by the inner harbor. The pool was good since it was so hot during our stay but considering the size of the hotel, I thought the pool was a little small. The beds were very comfortable and our room was very quiet.
Beautiful hotel right beside Baltimore harbor, clean room, friendly staff. Easy parking in the garage right under the Hotel (fee 33$, on Saturday, on weekdays 36$ / 24 hrs). High quality breakfast, without any plastic cutlery.
The brownstone building is very nice and very well decorated. I liked the proximity to the inner harbor and other attractions near downtown. I love the concept of turning a historical residence into a hotel.
The hotel is situated in the historic centre of Baltimore which was very quiet at the weekend as many places were closed. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and Veronica was particularly attentive.
Clean and warm room. Very close to Baltimore convention center and light-rail stations.
Few services and bath essentials but all items in the description were provided, in line with the price.
It’s very close to CFG Bank Arena!! I thought the room was big and clean. It’s an older hotel, but I love that fact about it. Staff was friendly and our floor was quiet.
The price I paid and the service exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located, easy walking distance to train, baseball parks and Inner Harbor facilities.
