Outstanding hotel. We had a wonderful stay here. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. I love how they always politely greet guests with two words and a smile. Philippine hospitality at its best! The room was always clean, with fresh towels and nicely made, comfortable beds. Breakfast and any other food (chicken adobo) and drinks (mango smoothie) from the La-ud restaurant were so tasty! We enjoyed our time at the pool and witnessed an amazingly beautiful sunset from the private seating area near the pool. I can also recommend the massages from the spa. I would love to come back some day. Big thanks to the hotel for making our stay an unforgettable one! Salamat po :)

The staff here were amazing. I booked this hotel with a friend for her 40th and made a note in the booking. On the day they put a beautiful display on the bed of rolled towels and flowers to look like a cake along with a lovely note. A friend from back home wanted to organise sparkling for us, and the staff managed to get me alone to check out the bottle and approve it and figure out when to serve it. I didn't know a slice of cake was also coming so when they came out with that whilst we enjoyed the sparkling, all the serving staff sang happy birthday and played guitar for her. It was done so beautifully and made for a memorable experience. The airport service was also amazing and on demand and the pool divine. We had massages most days which were also great and in a nice environment. Overall a wonderful experience here.

We liked and enjoyed much the Underground River tour with very unique features. It's 1 and a half hour travel from downtown to Sabang Port. We tried also the exotic food, the "Tamilok", eaten raw dipped in vinegar. It tastes like oyster.
We also availed of the half day city tour. It's also an educational tour learning the historical background of the City.
We Bona's Changlao, serving Vietnamese food.
We had dinner at Kinabuchs Grill and Bar which accepts debit or card payment.
We also tried Gelateria ice cream in Bekiko. Also an Italian restobar and coffee shop.
Palawan is producer of cashew. You can buy cashew. Nuts in supermarkets and souvenir shops.
Mode of transportation in downtown area tricycle and jeepney. For long distance trip, van or car for rent are available.
I was not able other tourist destinations in the city had very short stay in the city.

We spent 3 months visiting around Palawan.
We spent 3 months visiting around Palawan. Started in El Nido then went to Port Barton, then to Sabang, then to Puerto Princesa. Puerto Princesa is the main town for everything (like hospitals and banks and malls). Good foods in El Nido and plenty of island hopping adventures but also quite expensive and touristy (ie. taking advantage of the foreigners). Each place had some interesting adventures. I would say that we overstayed at each place except Sabang where we only stayed 2 nights.

I felt slightly unsafe as a female traveler here, there were not many likeminded travelers around me, it felt very congested and the locals here could not communicate easily with me as an english speaker. I didnt find people to be very friendly here. The beaches/bays here were not very beautiful and there were not many attractions or places to eat good food. Don't recommend staying here as a western traveler if you have the choice of going straight to Port Barton or El Nido (both of which are INCREDIBLE) :)

Nice town to stay and visit the underground river and some nice beaches in the area. There are some good restaurants and some good sea food restaurants. On our last we eat in Kalui Seafood restaurant, a real treat!

Like other cities in the PHL, Puerto Princesa has changed a lot over the past 30 years. More people, more vehicles, more shops, more resorts. One thing that has not changed YET is the respectfulness and courteousness of the local folks.
The highlight of Coron is its many options on island hopping tours.
The highlight of Busuanga is the Calauit Island -- a mini-Kenyan or Tanzanian Safari. The giraffe feeding event in Calauit is more enjoyable than in any giraffe safari in the world due to the sheer number of giraffe that goes to the feeding area.
The highlight of El Nido is its lovely high end resort and the twin lakes tour.
The highlight of Puerto Princesa is the Underground Cave.
San Vicente is now being developed as another option. Its beach is very long so this looks promising.
Having experienced the Palawan highlights, I am content with the peace and quiet at the Dolce Vita Hotel. Important for me is Dolce Vita's clean and deep swimming pool.

We stayed at the Astoria.
We stayed at the Astoria. The one thing that surprised me was they didn't take me ATM cards. I did have credit cards available and my traveling companion was local so I was able to work around it. The bed was a little firm, other than that, the room was perfect. They said the room didn't have a view, but the place is so pretty, the view of the grounds was still magnificent. Especially with the ocean peaking around the next building. The nightly show at dinner was great and the staff was sooooooo nice. We arranged a few tours and saw things like Port Barton and the Underground River. The island is beautiful and I would definitely go back.

We're glad we booked with Summer days to make our last day before taking our flight easy and comfortable. Entire environment is nice, rooms are just locate behind the coffee shop, nice and clean and big space in the room. Bed are comfortable, bathroom are clean too. We like the design of the hotel. Breakfast was provided by their own coffee shop, coffee was great. We really like their staffs, very friendly and polite. And absolutely helpful, always love to help. We have a very good impression and enjoy our last day in Palawan.
Kuya Luelle was very helpful. We were able to conveniently and confidently explore Palawan from North to South with his help.
The area is near Honda Bay but is not too far from the city. There's a nearby mall, so we were able to get our essentials since we stayed quite long.
The place is huge. It's like an apartment since it also has a kitchen and living room. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place. Everything is superb!
It is a nice hotel, located close by the center of Puerto Princesa.
Staff is friendly: there was an issue with the hot water and after my initial request to solve it wasn't finalized, the Manager of the hotel took charge of it and required another staff to come even though it was late evening.
It was a clean and large room.
There was a kitchenette space available for the entire floor: having water and tea/coffee.
everything !!!!
Beachfront tropical hideaway secluded branded resort out of town.
We travel a LOT in Southeast Asia and this is a fab hotel - nice pool - lovely staff all smiling and genuinely nice - looks like has had some refurbishment since negative reviews in past.
We will DEFINITELY stay again.
Breakfast has enough to easily fill you up and great is included ….
If you want to try a bit of Palawan life in a local compound, Amber’s Homestay is great. I didn’t spend so much time there but Billy was super nice and really helpful. This homestay is located in a quiet place but nearby you can find the airport and a lively street to hang out. The night will be lovely in this small room in Puerto Princesa
Bambu Suites was a great hotel for our two-night stay in Puerto Princesa. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good. This hotel doesn't have much around within walking distance, so be prepared to have to hire a taxi or tricycle to go to eat, etc. They do have water refill station and hot water avaiable too.
Great service, awesome food selection at their restaurant, and very convenient location. Close to the airport and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The owner and staff were amazing; treated their guest like family. Has the best selection of breakfast, coffee, wine, and cocktails in all of Puerto Princesa.
A very nice little budget hotel close to the airport. They have everything you would need for your stay: good quality restaurant, pool with towels, massage services, good WiFi in common areas. We enjoyed our last night in Palawan at this property before going back home.
The hotel staffs are very accommodating/ very good. Always concern of our needs, Specially that we were there for the Ironman Palawan. Perfect crew, il definitely go back here. Pls commend all your staffs there. I love them all. Very Good experience.
The staff makes this place an absolute gem, they do anything in their power to help and are incredibly warm and friendly.
Breakfast is pretty nice and the hotel is great value for money.
Walking distance from most main places in Puerto Princesa
A great escape from Manila for the weekend. Quick and easy to get to from Puerto Princesa airport. Loved the karaoke rooms and the adventure to the sand bar. The resort has everything you need for a good weekend.
Location was great, near airport and restaurants, 1km away from kinabutch resto, gym was decent, no mirrors though , and equipment on the low side, no pool also , ut for the price it was good.
Friendly and professional staff. Comfortable and quiet hotel in Puerto Princesa. The smell of natural essences was excellent and invited for a good massage after a long trip through Palawan.
THE STAFF!!!? 💯 The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered in all the hotels that I’ve been to. thank you so much Microtel Puerto Princesa for making our trip memorable ❤️
We stayed only one night since hotel is near airport. They picked up us from airport for free. The room was clean and enough for one night but there was no window.
The hotel is a wonderful little village in a remote area of Palawan. The environment at the beach was very nice and the staff very friendly and efficient.
