RiizeRooms at Bar TwentyTwo - central boutique hotel & bar is a property located in Worcester near Worcester Cathedral. The bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV.
Great place for anyone who loves history. Particularly Medieval and English Civil War then of course there is the Elgar connection. Plenty of old buildings. Worth looking out for tours of the City and the Cathedral reasonably priced -the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides are a credit to the city. The Cathedral is free to visit though donations encouraged -and King John's tomb is there.
The riverside walks are great, and always like seeing the swan sanctuary . Found prices for food and drink cheaper than where I live.
The historical sites of the City are largely central and relatively near to each other.

A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .
Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble.
Food was great and good value for money.
Beer garden was the best I have seen. There was plenty of tables outside and also a covered area that had heaters. There was a brilliant area for children to play in that is safe and secure.
The level of cleanliness is exceptional.
We had our dog and the location was perfect with great walks nearby.
We are travelling from Scotland to Torquay and this was a fabulous hotel to break the journey. A great start to our holiday.
Hotel room was amazing. We arrived to have been told we had been upgraded to room 301 and got a free glass of prosecco. The room and bathroom are huge and the views of the river and cathedral are lovely. Parking in the 24hr car park is only a few yards away. The breakfast menu was great. A lot of choice and of very good standard. I would definitely come here again if stopping in Worcester which is a lovely place to visit for a weekend. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
Everything was perfect. The staff were brilliant, helpful, accommodating every request with a smile. The food was excellent, we had bar food, breakfast and dinner over the 2 nights we stayed and it was all delicious, beautifully presented and fault free. It is in a good location to visit Worcester, and beyond from. We felt it was great value for money and have stayed in more expensive hotels with far fewer good points. Definitely one to return to when next in the area.
Stayed in Room 204:
* Room was on a whole very clean, as was rest of hotel.
* Location is superb for almost everything in Worcester, especially Forgeate Street Station.
* Rooms are extremely well finished, as are the bathrooms
* Staff were generally very helpful.
* All in all, I would happily stay again and recommend to others, (but perhaps not business travelers).
The location is excellent, right in Worcester city centre with many restaurants, cafes, shops etc close by. The train station is a 5 minute walk away. My room was a good size, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable bed. Great shower. Staff were really friendly and helpful. This was my second visit to this hotel and I would not hesitate in staying here again.
The room was clean, comfortable, comfy bed, with all tea and coffee making facilities. Although the hotel noted that they have been supporting some local homeless people, this has been very positive for all those concerned and had no effect on the stay at all. Quiet, and the reception/bar staff member was extremely helpful and pleasant. A good stay!
I thought the breakfast was very good. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The location was perfect being a stone's throw from Worcester Foregate Street Station. When I am next in Worcester for an event I think I will definitely consider the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel in the first instance.
I can thoroughly recommend The Shrubbery Guest House as an easy to find, comfortable, homely stay near to the centre of Worcester ; the lady who owns and runs it couldn't be a better hostess and the rooms are fine and clean and comfortable ; the superb breakfast will keep you going well into the rest of the day.
Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not The Ritz, but I did not expect it to be. We six elderly friends met at the hotel for a night out in Worcester. Location perfect. Comfortable night’s sleep in my family room. Breakfast fry up with coffee/tea and orange juice was great value at £6.00.
Lovely building in a perfect location on the bank of the river. Centre of Worcester within easy walking distance. Excellent breakfast and staff all very pleasant and helpful. We had a lovely room in the annexe and really enjoyed our break here. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Excellent accommodation, spacious, clean, well equipped, very quiet area but close to city centre, will definitely stay again when visiting my head office, beats any hotel room in Worcester!!
Loved the room it was quaint and cosy lovely big bed. The hotel had a fabulous restaurant where we had our evening meal and breakfast the next day food was outstanding.
Amazing location, walking distance into the center. Super picturesque and classic English Style guesthouse hotel. The staff are welcoming and service is amazing!
