It was great to have a leisure club with swimming pool, etc. The room and bed were comfortable. The location was handy for our visit to Dundee and Camperdown Wildlife Park.

I loved the atmosphere, the charm of the old building.
The reception is right at the bar. My room was upstairs the pub. Loved the old stairs and floors noises. It has seen some years and everything is oldfashioned. Even the bathroom, but it was clean.
Spent a calm night. Had delicious dinner, a nice breakfast and the staff was very friendly. I felt welcomed.
Its a calm city and you have a nice landscape surrounding.

I really like Dundee but have only started visiting fairly recently. Prior to that it was always somewhere we stopped for a quick snack before heading on to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
For my 11 year old, she loves the shopping as we do let her loose by herself (which is not something I would allow in Glasgow or Edinburgh, too big) and I like the culture. The Discovery and the V&A are right next to each and good for a visit. The HMS Unicorn is also worth a visit and we have enjoyed the Science Centre and Camperdown Park previously.
There are some lovely pubs and restaurants, I have never met any rude staff, they are always so lovely and friendly.
Highly recommend a wee visit.

Plenty of things to do and see.
Plenty of things to do and see. We were there for a gig at The Caird Hall love the intimate atmosphere of the venue. Plenty of shops pubs and eating places. Easy to get to although new LEZ might be a bit of a nuisance for city centre things

Well I am going to say it is great going to Dundee as I am an expat.
Not too impressed with the V&A, Lovely building but disappointing inside. McManus is better. Up the Law Hill is well worth the visit even in the cold and wind etc. and Broughty Ferry is great for shopping and pubs etc.

Only a brief visit (open day visit to one of the Universities with son from England). Wish we had longer - lovely small city, friendly atmosphere and very beautiful location. New design museum a must. Will be back to see more of city and area, even if son does not end up at the Uni.

City centre has good museums and nice walks along the river.
City centre has good museums and nice walks along the river. Good transport and city centre restaurants. Fabulous Thai restaurant next door to hotel, Italian and Indian restaurants short bus/taxi ride away. Good cafes for breakfast. Regular buses to seaside. Would have enjoyed better pubs without football screens. Hotels better for a quiet drink.
The location of the hotel is in the center of this beautiful city. You can reach the Dundee central station directly as it is just under the hotel. The staff here is a very helpful staff and welcoming. The room service is great as they do their works every morning quickly and professionally. Also, there is a great feature in this hotel that no body can take the elevator to the rooms unless he/she has a key card. If they do not have the key card they can not reach the upper floors, just the elevator takes them to the reception.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The towels were really soft, the water was lovely and hot and the extra touches, toiletries, Pringles, biscuits, bottled water, were replaced daily. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet area of Dundee, so I slept well. Plenty of off street parking in the surrounding streets. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre.
The location is good, it's on the main street in the city centre, but that didn't mean it was noisey at all.
The facilities are alright, maybe it could be better with more but it's ok.
The rooms were fine, they're basic, but you pay a cheap price so that's alright.
Staff were good, and it's a curious place to go to, a weird old building (or two or three) so there's more character than some modern identikit hotel.
Staff were amazing. The room was really comfortable and had everything supplied. The hotel is really quirky, being three little cottages combined into one. The restaurant was great - the fish and chips was first class! You can stroll along the sea to the Broughty Castle. I would highly recommend The Fisherman's Tavern to anyone going to Dundee as it's not far from the city.
The Queens is in a great location close to Dundee city centre. The hotel has lost a little of its grandeur (it must have been spectacular in its heyday) but it still covers all the basics well. The room was good (3rd floor) with great views of the city. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Parking was on site and free. The staff were good.
The grounds of the hotel are spectacular! Wonderful room, spacious, excellent storage, comfortable bed, cozy, clean, .convenient . Bathroom is also spacious, great shower.. Good hot breakfast. Really enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend this place. Location is 4.7m from the center of Dundee. We travelled by car.
Consistently good hotel, we have used it a few times now, as its local to us, but handy for staying in Dundee. On this occasion staff were super helpful and we really appreciated the early check in. Facilities are spotless as always, the rooms are great. We never have an issues staying here, and will always recommend.
Exceptional hotel with a comfortable, tranquil atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. The customer service is outstanding, demonstrating exceptional care. Moreover, its central location in the heart of Dundee provides convenient access to the railway and bus station at your doorstep.
Breakfast very good. Why can’t hotels have grainy bread or Scottish bars on the menu.
Not easy with a grammy leg getting a case up 2 flights of stairs at 8.30 pm. A staff member brought it down next morning
Liked view from window.
Parking was very accessible and very cheap. Hotel near lots of restaurants. Dundee is a great location to go to lots of different areas, we went to glamis castle for the day. Foyer and restaurant felt light and open, food atmosphere.
Our room was lovely and spacious.
The hotel is really lovely and the staff friendly and courteous.
Free parking on site and only a few miles out from Dundee.
We only stayed 1 night, but would be more than happy to return again.
Didn’t have breakfast in hotel, was meeting up with daughter and family in Dundee.
Will definitely use your facilities again, we were very impressed with the hotel and its facilities.
Robbie is always so friendly and cooks up the most delicious haggis and scrambled eggs. Always a favorite spot to stay in Dundee and absolutely coming back!
