Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The rooms were very nice , but ..... we stayed on a sun and mon. Sun eve there were people there ,but after that. There was no one around. Couldn't get ice , or assistance.
Not what I was expecting for 300. Dollars a night.
Sorry. But could have an ice machine and a machine for snacks.
Thanks.
It was located right next to the Qualicum beach including the private beach that belongs to the resort. Gorgeous view, a lot of privacy, quietness, we loved everything about this place. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and Qualicum downtown area is 15 minutes drive away. The only downside is stores and even restaurants close early. We arrived at 8:30 pm, which is after hour for the staff, but they ensured that I was able to receive keys and checkin smoothly.
Everything was top quality and amazing value for price. Best breakfast ever and wonderful conversations with hosts. Room and bed great, coffee machine and small fridge in room. Recent renovation in beautiful home with pool. Location beside qualicum beach. They made us reservations at a great restaurant for dinner. Our entire stay was special adding a great memory to our trip to Vancouver island. Highly recommend.
Modernised old historical building that oozed charm. Individual rooms and service was excellent. It was quiet and overlooked the golf course. Walking distance to Qualicum Beach shops, town facilities and beach. Lovely preserved forest backed onto the rear of the property with 500 year old trees. Plenty of parking.
We loved everything about this hotel! Nice style, spacious, clean room, king size bed, nice linen.
Very friendly and helpful staff!!!
The restaurant is absolutely amazing. Excellent gourmet-creations!
We also very much enjoyed the music😀
Looking forward to returning for a lunch on our way back.
We loved the 'Seaside Hotel' vibe here. A little grassy lawn and deck chairs facing the sea wall. Stairs down onto the beach. The exterior looks a bit shabby but the rooms are very modern and comfortable. They all have a view of the water. Very comfy beds. We loved our 2 night stay here.
The scenic view from our room and the hot tub on deck was amazing… it was nice we were able to cook our own meals and for those travelling light, being able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner could be a great option, based on the location of the property.
I would absolutely recommend this lovely apartment. The host was very nice. The apartment was impressively clean and had all the comforts the two of us could ask for. Convenient and quiet location. It was perfect for our 2 day get-a-way to Qualicum Beach!
A very comfortable room with a great view. Super location, several restaurants close by. Very clean, lots of new linens and comfortable beds. Damage from recent storms is evident, but does not detract from the views or access to the center lawn area.
Convenient location across from the beach; not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable , spacious place to stay with your family, this place is good value for money and we would go again.
The hotel was in a good location for our trip. The room was clean and had all we needed for our stay. The air conditioner was great at night when it was hot and helped with our sleep.
There was no breakfast. We had a wonderful kitchen with everything we needed to make our own breakfast. On our way to the hotel we picked up some groceries so it worked out well.
