Hyatt Place is right across from MLK PLAZA and there is a lovely memorial there on the principles of non violence. There is also sculpture and a walkway marking historical timeline of the movement. Beautifully done. This town is very quaint and I definitely will return to see more of the art scene.

It was filthy in areas. Rugs were disgustingly dirty.
It was filthy in areas. Rugs were disgustingly dirty. Bathroom was an electrical hazard. Breakfast was tasteless and stale. Same food daily. Pastries like hockey pucs and pancakes hard like discus thrown in cross country sports or olympics. Pool indoor super disappointing and cold. Hot tub was cold tub less then your body temperature. Door did not latch when closed and man opened stating wrong room. Very unsafe. I will never book a room there again or any Ramada any where.

The hotel was run down and dirty we chose to check out and leave early not to stay the second night.
The check in staff was rude and couldn't even find my reservation.
We are up there a lot as our son goes to Penn State and I would not recommended this hotel to anyone.

Bad all around - staff need training in customer service. Could not find my reservation, even after providing confirmation - hotel stated date was wrong on their end and changed my room and charged me more $$. Needs cleaner bathroom and provide appropriate bedding. Restaurant service lacking, along with food quality, overpiced.

The staff is great.
The staff is great. The rooms are comfortable, The bathrooms are spacious. Thanks for allowing me to travel with my dog. The onsite restaurant is great. We took advantage of the nice free breakfast and also had dinner there both evenings. It was tasty, and arrived at the table hot. Drinks were refilled without asking! Waitstaff is exceptional.
This hotel is really roomy and beautiful. As soon as I walk in I can feel myself relax. Even if there are many people staying there, it feels like we are the only ones there. It's quiet, the rooms are comfortable and roomy. Everything is clean and new. The views from the windows in our room and in the common areas are magnificent. I just wish it was warm enough to sit out on the deck. Easy to park.
The staff are as friendly and helpful as I've rarely seen. I found myself in this hotel in spite of myself, as I was supposed to be in another hotel in the center of State College.
I was a little disappointed, but in the end I found myself in a wonderful hotel, whose greatest strength is the human quality of the people working there.
I recommend it 100% and would go back without hesitation!
Pros:
The facility was Clean, location near I-90, still quite and had a scenic view from 4th floor room. It has couple of nearby restaurants at walking distance such as Olive Garden.
The room had fridge and a microwave.
Although coffee maker was not in room, you could get warm brewed coffee kept besides reception area at the 1st floor.
A great location for a hotel at Penn State - right in the downtown area and close to campus. The room was so cute with Penn State decor that was not overdone. We were there for the inaugural Ironman 70.3 and they had out snacks for athletes and even a bike cleaning station in the garage.

The Hotel is a good place if you want to visit somebody in State College. Food supermarkets are close by, the hotel can be easily reached by car. The room ist quite spacious, the rooms in the back are very quiet.
Very attractive with clean rooms and nice bed linens. Particularly liked the low level light in bathroom. Too many hotels have only bright lights that make you look hideous and ruin your travel
experience.
Very convenient to State College & the Penn State athletic facilities. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Legends bar located in conference center was lively and has cool PSU memorabilia on the walls.
Very close to amenities. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Everything was great. The next time we are in the state college area we plan to make reservations to stay at Sleep Inn
The front desk staff went over and beyond for our group. We had 3 rooms together for a youthgroup trip. We already booked this hotel again for our next trip to State College.
The hotel is close the Penn State College which is our destination. Like the happy smile of the receptionist. She talked me into signing up to the Radisson’s membership!
