This hotel is amazing. It is ideally situated a short distance from the Liberty Bell and the Historic Area. The bus stops are nearby which is tap and go and can take you to the art museum and rocky steps. The city centre, Reading Terminal Market, and local restaurants and bars are walkable easily from here too. We also walked to a recommended Philly Cheese Steak restaurant (Geno's) which did not disappoint! Great food, bars, hotel, great city! All the staff at the hotel were wonderful, really friendly, welcoming and informative. We arrived early, the concierge, (who was lovely) safely stored our luggage for us until we came back to check in and gave us lots of local info. We were halfway through our East Coast road trip and so the clean, working, laundry facilities were great, you could purchase washing powder there too but had to have the right change so make sure you have plenty of quarters with you. Room was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. Anything you ran out of was brought to your room. We really felt that staff went out of their way to make our stay a great one.

Perfect sized room, amazing shower and a little fridge so you could make your own breakfast.

A Birthplace of Independence And a Public Art Mecca
The birthplace of American independence, Philadelphia was founded in 1682 by William Penn. The name of the city translates to City of Brotherly Love and the city itself is a vibrant mix of history, art and culture.
Philly, as it is commonly called, is famous for its public art with more sculptures and murals than any other city in USA. Seeing the best graffiti and statutes won’t break the bank balance as you can join many free tours and admire them absolutely free of charge!
It’s also home to many national historical sites with the Independence National History Park as a starting point and centre for all the major landmarks, including the Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Liberty Bell is located, the symbol of the American Revolution.
Visit the world’s largest urban landscaped park, the Fairmount Park with over 37 km² of green area. There are plenty of paths and hiking trails and after that, enjoy some local specialities: a cheesesteak sandwich, a soft pretzel or some Tastykake snacks.
Arriving at Philadelphia International Airport, you’re only a 20-minute ride from the city centre. Booking.com offers a variety of hotels in downtown Philly, near the airport or for the sports enthusiasts, near the Wells Fargo Center.

We were there for a big family wedding to a place where we have lived before years ago. The kids loved the Franklin Institute all day. Street parking was available during the days we were there and we parked in a lot overnight. We didn't walk places, our original plan, staying in Chinatown near the convention center, because of the rain. We happened on the Broad Street Run on Sunday am and had a great time cheering all the runners.
Philadelphia is a wonderful place to visit any time, with the historic district, Fairmount Park, the Art Museum and many other museums in center city, and so many places to visit for everyone.

Philly is ok, we were lucky to have good weather.
Philly is ok, we were lucky to have good weather. Very nice to know that it is considered a Sanctuary city, many people from different ethnicities around, from different countries and religions. Strangely, we did not feel the brotherly love among the people who live there. In general, they were quite indifferent to visitors, almost unfriendly. It is a walkable city, safe and fairly beautiful.

I’ve stayed there several times and each time I could have stayed longer. It was peaceful and quiet. I would recommend more cookware and larger cookware as in pots and pans. If possible every time I come to Philadelphia that’s where I would stay.
Thanks for the great experience and hospitality.😊😊😊😊

Our stay was far too brief- only overnight.
Our stay was far too brief- only overnight.
We did get to see the Bell and take in a tour of Independence Hall which is a DO NOT MISS experience. It was so uplifting to hear the history presented by a good presenter with a great sense of humor and patriotism in the most genuine way.
Buddakan restaurant was absolutely delicious and reservations are a must as well.
The people we encountered- both staff and regular citizens- were very friendly and helpful. Could not be nicer to us.
Barnes museum is an eccentric curiosity with probably the largest collection of Renoir canvases - ranging from sublime to godawful- on the planet. Nice sprinkling of other Impressionist era work and some other interesting objets.
We had hoped to hit the Reading Market and hear the Wanamaker organ and do the Rocky steps. Another time...

Love Philadelphia ❤️.
Love Philadelphia ❤️. We've been coming every year for 10 years from Seattle to see our daughter who moved here. There is always something new to do. The American history available to explore is fabulous. And an hour away is Amish country which is great fun and a completely different experience.
The one bedroom suite we stayed in at this hotel was excellent. The bedroom was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The living room/kitchen was attractive and well equipped, as was the bathroom. The building has been tastefully refurbished and was quiet. We were able to make food or eat out as necessary. The reception staff were all very helpful. The hotel is right beside the Fairmount subway station, so is easily accessible by public transport. If you were energetic, you could walk to the downtown area.
The rooms are very clean and spacious! We love having the kitchenette and a full sized fridge. Bed and pillows were one of the comfiest I've ever slept on; and I am a frequent traveller. It is also in downtown Philly so there are various restaurants and shops around the property. We only stayed overnight, but this hotel would be a solid choice for multiple-night stays. Hot breakfast was also complimentary.
The location is great, there was plenty of space and it is walking distance to many historical sites and great restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked and Target was a short walk away so we could make breakfast which was nice. For a family of 5 this was some of the best bang for your buck relative to some far more expensive downtown Philly hotels.
This property is very close to the metro and suburban train stops in Center City. The room was modern and had been renovated in the past few years. The hotel is near Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, Love Park, Market Street, and a short bus or metro ride to the Art Museum, Franklin Institute, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and Independence Mall.
Location, the fact that it was SO close to everything was a huge plus. The security, being as though the hotel is in center city, there are alot of homeless people and 1 worry I had was possibly people lingering around the front entrance. That didn't happen and it seems as though the hotel takes proper precautions so it DOESN'T happen.
The breakfast selection was excellent! Very happy to have that included. The location was great in the heart of Center City. We were also very happy to have a pool available with friendly hours too. It appeared as one of only four hotels in the city with a pool. It is near so much and plenty of public transportation options nearby.
Amenities fee was outrageous. It is not a luxe property and the so-called perks noted for this fee were if no value.! will not stay there again because of this fee.
The hotel is an average downtown hotel. Without the amenities fee, it is a decent value. But with this amenity fee add-on, the property does not offer value for money.
My husband and myself can down for a night in center city to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. We both work and live in the city it just something so relaxing about this hotel we visited in August for his birthday we went to dinner and just relaxing we got to see how we can relax and enjoy ourselves in our city
Great location for downtown Philadelphia. A couple of blocks from Rittenhouse square and some of the main shopping streets and corporate area. The hotel is close to train station if coming in from the airport. Bed is comfy and shower is good. The room had blackout blinds which were 100% effective.
The location is fantastic, the room was lovely spacious and fantastic value for money. The staff were wonderful and so courteous and helpful. If we get to Philadelphia for another visit, we would most definitely stay at this hotel again. I would highly recommend it.
The Hotel is very close to the airport which was very convenient for my connecting flight in the early morning. The yard looked really beautiful. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was really helpful. I’m thinking of a longer stay here next time I’m in Philly
The hotel staff, from desk clerks to housekeeping, were all friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast bar offered delicious food and beverages. The hotel is located within walking distance of downtown and the historic district.
Highly recommended for a quick stay near the airport. Room was clean and had everything we need. Staff were very friendly. The airport is 15 min by bus. To get to downtown you can walk 10 min and then take a train for 20 min.
The hotel location is amazing. It is central to the everything my brother and I wanted to do while we were in Philadelphia! We went to the P!nk concert, visited the Mutter Museum, and got lunch at the Reading Terminal Market.
The hotel is located conveniently to downtown Philadelphia. It’s pretty easy to get to from the highway, and easy to leave, there was an independent parking next door. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
The room had been modernised and was in keeping with the hotel. The location is excellent for exploring the old quarter of Philadelphia and was near to lots of restaurants. It was good value for money.
Hotel is in a fine Center City location. Parking around the corner is adequate but it would be nice to have in-and-out privileges for $40 a day. Room has good bed, TV, adequate bath, desk, power hookups.
Really lovely hotel, room was spacious with kitchen and walk in wardrobe. Staff were super friends and facilities were amazing! would recommend this to anyone going to visit Philadelphia.
